Why yes it’s the ABC along catch up post :) So there’s many, many pictures.
This past weekend was an awesome fibery type weekend. Saturday was spent spinning with my guild, the Elmendorph Spinners, on Clermont’s beautiful grounds during the Chancellor’s Sheep & Wool Showcase.
A little E for Elmendorph, and a bit of F for friends.
Numero uno, is of course Tina. Wonderful friend, confidant, and spinner extraordinaire :) She wasn’t there spinning with the guild that day - she was there vending her goods, and her goods are good. Just saying :)
Now here are a few more of the wonderful people that are in the guild.
So that’s E and F, I guess G would have to be goods. I actually did not buy that much, but the bit I did get makes me very happy :)
I bought a lot of soap! I love this stuff so much, and they all smell so delicious. It’s from Clove Valley Soapworks and their stuff is so good. My favorite product of theirs is their Boo-Boo cream. They had already sold out of it by the time I got there on Saturday, but luckily I still have some left. The stuff is good though, and all natural, and we do go through it like crazy in the summer so I’m going to have to contact them soon for some more. The four square bars will be teacher gifts and the round one on the wooden soap dish is some kitchen soap that I picked up for myself. The yarn, oh the delicious yarn, is some lace weight of course acquired from Tina and I can’t wait to get my hands on it. The little guy trying so hard to get in the picture might be my favorite buy of the day, but it’s hard to take a picture with a puppet on your hand while trying to get him in the picture. So here he is all alone.
Is he not the cutest thing ever? I bought this under the pretense that it was for the kids, he’s not. He’s mine, all mine! He’s an incredible lift to your day. I mean it’s hard to be grumpy when you put this guy on your hand. I think everyone should get one :) To bad I know nothing of his origins, gosh darn it.
E, F, G, now for H
Well that would be our Sunday trip to Webs to see the Harlot.
It was so funny to watch the regular folks in downtown North Hampton that day looking at the sign, then looking at all the people, then back to the sign. Who is this rock star the Yarn Harlot? Scratch, scratch, keep on walking :). You see, the Calvin is a place for music usually. The night before the Harlot the Hanson Brothers were there (mmmbop, you know you want to sing it)
So me and missy left the boys at home for a day of girl only yarn frolicking. There were more yummy goods acquired but I already used that for part of this ABC along, so me being me we of course have our feet. Because you know how I love my feet pictures.
First we have missy and I waiting in the theater for the Harlot’s arrival.
We of course waited in line afterwards to have our book signed and a photo opportunity with the Harlot herself.
I’m thinking I should have had my toes done for such an event. Oh well, next time.
E, F, G, H! I’m all caught up now - yeah!
Oh, just one more picture, to make the circle complete. I see you too!
Missy did all the picture taking on Sunday, and she didn’t do to bad!

YAY! You got to see the Harlot!
Also? I think I need some soap now. :)
Looks like SO much fun!
I have a whole “Foot Album”, pictures of my feet taken over the years.
I have been to the Clermont Festival once and loved it. The grounds are beautiful.
Holy cow, it’s like a total Tina expose! I’m feeling quite self-conscious right now, I love to smile, but my teeth are awfully discolored (from braces and lots of cola). :( I’m going to ignore that though and focus on how awesome it was that day and cool your post is. :)
You and me baby, till the sheep come home.
Looks like a ton of fun all the way around!
