Daughters daily drawings.

Originally I was going to use Dunkin Donuts, after all that is the fuel that keeps me going, but with the house of sickness last week I never really got the opportunity to gather all the props and then take pictures. Missy though, with one of her daily drawings was able to capture the letter “D” quite perfectly.

Daily Drawing - Mom’s Nightstand

Just about everyday Missy manages to draw something. Often it’s a still life of where ever she is at the moment, then other times it’s your regular rainbows and flowers of a dreamy 13 year old. This is one of her drawing from last week that pretty much captures what I was going for anyway (there’s the DD cup after all). This was her view of my nightstand while sitting on my bed, and I love how she captured all the details :) There’s the fall out card from Spin-Off magazine, my flowered coffee mug (it had tea in it), and of course the always present Dunkin Donut cup.

I love Missy’s daily doodles and drawings :)

    She’s definitely a talented one :)

I hope you guys are all feeling better soon. We’ve had the cold from hades going on between the two of us, so we can relate!

Hope ya’ll feel better! My son has the hacking cough too. My son draws too, but nothing quite so profound as of yet. We need to continue encouraging them, we have little budding artists on our hands!

    And I can see why.

Your nightstand is much less cluttered than mine.

That’s fabulous! She’s got a looseness tempered by precision that looks like it was done by a pro. That style of whimsical line drawing is so charming.
