So said Mother Teresa. Here’s another good one - A smile is a curve that sets everything straight. ~Phyllis Diller.
Bev has kindly bestowed on me the You Make Me Smile Award, (how cool is that!) and it’s now my job to pass it on. Not as easy as it sounds. There are so many wonderful blogs out there that bring a smile to this crazy face of mine.
So without further ado, I would like to nominate the following (in no particular order):
- Amanda of SouleMama. So inspiring. Beautiful pictures, beautiful family, beautiful projects, and she has wit. Here’s a (semi) recent post of hers that brought big smiles to my face.
- Jennifer of Chrysanthemum. Another creative, witty, momma, and boy do I love her style. Just about everything she does I want to do, such as this super-sized February sweater. I’m still grinning ear to ear just thinking about that one.
- Rosa of Purly Qs. Extraordinary spinner, goddess of lace, and full of darn good common sense. Her note taking post brought a big smile to my face. I also have the same inability to actually remember to click the row counter except I use hash marks and my notes are much more messy looking.
- Maryse of bag ‘n’ trash. Knitter, crocheter, lover of kitsch, great photographer, and quick with the wit. I’m not linking to anything in particular here, just scroll. I’m sure you’ll find your smile pretty darn quick.
- Chris of Woolybuns. Goddess of felt, bunnies, and dogs :) She makes me laugh, she makes me cry. She’s a real person with a heart of gold.
- Both Jen and La of JenLa
- Norma of Now Norma Knits
- Rabbitch of well, Rabbitch
These ladies put it out there. Putting into words what I only wish I had the nerve to say out loud at times. Also they come up with new, thought provoking words that fill those vocabulary voids we often run into :)
Well that’s nine crafty, knitting, type blogs. I think I’ll end with the blog I’ve been reading the absolute longest. Heather aka Dooce still totally keeps me in stitches - and she doesn’t even knit :)
Yes that was my sad attempt at humor as I’m crunching to get this post out before midnight. Oy!

Oh man, you brought a tear of absolute joy into my eye. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for including me in your list. I am truly honored. Your blog makes me smile. And today, all day, I will be grinning from ear to ear.
Good list! Most of them make me smile, and a couple I have to check out.
