Saturday after helping Tina finish up a wholesale order she needed to get out, (I am the queen of the hole-punch) we headed of to Mary’s.

Where we each bought some more of her scrumptious Blue Faced Leicester. I couldn’t wait to get home and get this stuff into the dye pot. I had visions of brown and gold with a bit of green running through my head. Yet when I dug my stuff out of the closet I noticed that some of my dye stocks were getting to that 6 month mark - so I thought it better to use them up rather than make more. Haste makes waste and all that.

When I was a kid we always had goulash for dinner the night before grocery shopping was done. It was my mom’s way of cleaning out the fridge of things before they went bad. So that is what I did with my stock dyes - made some goulash.

My son adds the word “crack” to anything that he feels needs intensification. For instance my new body spray (grapefruit) smells like Starbursts on crack. Well I cleaned out my cupboards, and now have myself some goulash on crack :) and a bunch of empty jars waiting for some new stock.
I’m not crazy at all about the color - but I have learned that spinning changes everything. Let’s hope so.

Yay, crack and goulash! Two of my favorite things! ;)
I dig those colors, they turned out like a children’s tidepool.
