Three is the number Little Man turned on Friday. We had an impromptu get together at grandma’s, and our planned beach party will be another day.
Three is also the number of attempts needed before I finally made a booty that would actually fit the intended baby.
I love how these finally turned out - well actually the other two pairs are good looking also just doll sized :) The yarn is super wash merino spun from the Sheep 2 Shoe kit (literally now - huh) roving I bought at Rhinebeck last year from Blue Moon Fiber Arts.
These were a quick knit, but….. The actually finishing took me longer than the knitting. Well maybe not, I could be exaggerating. I have this mental block. A tiny item should just take a tiny amount of finishing - right?
No matter, I really do like them, and will be doing them again. I have dreams of making them super-sized. With a little fleece lining on the inside, and little bits of felt on the bottom for wear, sized just for me. Hmmmm
