Finally a wee bit of real blogging going on - yeah!
In moving, one thing I discovered is that I have many long forgotten WIP’s, and some are so close to being done it’s ridiculous. Lotus Blossom tank being one of them, all she needed was some ends sewn in and the arms finished. Now this did take me longer than it should have because I had to do one arm repeatedly because my tension was crazy tight (can we say totally stressed out). But she’s finally done, and there is time enough to still wear her.
There were a few modifications. I did down-size the pattern by taking out one lace repeat (10 stitches) and CO this new number. I also knit the bodice about 2″ longer before starting the arm hole decreasing. It worked and the fit is good, and the belly covered.
So with one old (slightly over a year) UFO out of the way of course I had to start something new. Interweave’s Tangled Yoke Cardigan is now on the needles. I love me some felted tweed goodness.
Have a great weekend all!

I had the feeling the moment I saw that cardigan that you would be making it. It’s gorgeous! :)
That tank is so beautiful on you! I love it!
Oh wow… you look wonderful in it! I love the color, the fit, everything! Great job, and I can’t wait to see it in person.
Oh, your Lotus Blossom is gorgeous! And I’m definitely going to be making that cardigan as well. It’s too pretty to resist.
Lotus Blossom looks great on you! I was so pleased to see the yarn you’d spun from the mixed-green fiber I sent you. It came out so nice!
i do love that lotus blossom. so pretty.
I love the stitch pattern on that tank. I’m thinking shawl in a fingering weight yarn. Very beautiful.
Lotus Blossom is gorgeous, and you show off well :) Absolutely wonderful job m’dear!
Lotus Blossom is beautiful and it fits you so well!! Enjoy wearing it in these final days of summer.
So cute! And it fits just right, I hope you wear it a lot!
I love the Lotus — the lace stitch is gorgeous. I somehow missed that one in IK. I need to go back and look for it.
I already started the Hemlock — very addicting.
RE: Cat Bordhi’s purl video — she is demonstrating combination knitting, which creates a new set of issues IMHO. Oh well. If we wanted perfection we would all own knitting machines!
Your LB is absolutely beautiful! Love the color! :)
oh, and a pretty pretty top too! (sorry i am soooo far behind on blog reading)
