I have started this post at least a gazillion times, and they all sound so non-like me (which is who I am and who I want to be) – so rather than go on and on about my absence, I’m just going to move forward with a little bit of catch up playing along the way. It will be just like I had never left :)
Some spinning has been done, of course it is all in the last color range of project spectrum, but it’s never to late to show new pretties.
First from this (stuff from Monica and the one pictured on the bottom) I got this.
Some lovely yarn I’m going to use for socks. Is she not gorgeous? Well of course she is, the colorist of these lovely locks is extremely talented. Look here she is up close.
Now on with the pink. I picked up this stuff from Tina (another whose talented beyond all means) and I love it. Now this spinning is not my best work, but it was after all relief spinning. Making this yarn saved my sanity through my little mini life crises, so yeah I’m totally loving it. I think there should be enough for a hat or two.
Well that’s it for now. Short and sweet, well on this end. I will not mention the hours it took me to do this post because it is totally unbelievable :)
Enjoy your last bits of weekend left.

WOOOT! You know how much I covet the green yarn, right? When I think of how you used to lament not being able to spin as well as you wanted, and not all that long ago, I just have to smile. You have grown SO much as a spinner. You go girl!
And I thank you for the sweetheart compliments and mentioning me. You just made my day. I love the yarn you spun up with my roving and I can’t wait to see what you make out of it.
Had a great time with you yesterday, glad you could get some spinning done finally. :)
