Patience is a virtue and apparently a virtue I do not have. When returning home from running around on Monday there was a package at the door. A package containing 20 skeins of Noro. A package that filled me with both excitement and dread.
I opened it, twitched a bit, and before I knew it I had this:

She’s an addictive little knit. Very, very hard to put down. It’s all her fault that last nights supper was slightly overcooked and a bit mushy. She has not been picked up at all today now that I know her addicting qualities, but tonight once the kids are down, we will be reacquainted.
The weekend was pretty quiet around here, which I totally loved. Must schedule more quiet weekends. I did hit the Goodwill on Saturday while doing a bit of running around (I can not just drive by these places – ever! Well unless they are closed) and I bought a few sweaters because they were on sale for $1.49. They will become felt. Well all but the bottom one. It’s a acrylic, silk, angora mix but so soft. It also has some really nice embroidery on it that is not showing in the picture. I envision this as a lovely flop pillow or bolster for the bed or couch. We shall see :)

Ready for some close-ups?

DUDE.
‘Chelle that is possibly the BEST color of Noro EVER. Please tell me what the color number is. I must make something of it. *drools*
Wow, I am loving Lady Eleanor. I have Lady E on a long short list of Must Knit projects. Good score at the Good Will. I have 2 bags of sweaters from Good Will that I want to felt and turn into a blanket like the one in AlterKnits.
lady e is looking great. i wish i had the patience to tackle it, becasue i admire it so much, but no. at least i know myself that well . . .
