I’ve been working on a new blog template. The new one has no snail :-) Why this one does? Not really sure of that - but it was a nice picture available at the time and something I could work with quickly. The new site is very bright, (almost hurt your eyes bright) anyways I need more words. Textile Junkie there all by herself looks lonely so I’m trying to think of a witty tag line. But I’m totally failing (she may be slow but always on the go sort of works only with the snail there).
There are two I’ve contemplated: “I like making a piece of string into something I can wear.” which is an anonymous quote I found somewhere. It fits but not snuggly. It totally neglects my fabric stash (which is not well noted well on this here blog - but still outweighs the yarn and fiber stash - barely) Then I had “Rantings of an obsessed fiber addict” which again fits - but seems so generic.
I want something with oomth (how do you spell that), something that fits me, something that is totally witty, elegant, yet makes you smile. Is that too much to ask for? So that’s why I’m asking you all to help. The few, the proud, the intelligent (yes I’m recruiting you) ones that pass by here every now and then give me a tag line. Maybe I should make this a contest? Hmm.
That’s it - leave a comment with your best tag line for Textile Junkie. The one chosen to use will get a little something-something, and an entry chosen at random will also get a little something-something. Spread the word :-) I’ll get back to you when I exactly figure what the little something-somethings are. Oh but it will be good :-), probably from the stash, and there will most likely be choices.
Wow two posts in one day.

If I were at all good at this, my blog name would not be The Most Boring Blog Name On All The Planet. (hey, maybe I’ve got something there!)
:)
Thanks for visiting my blog and good luck finishing your red (or not) scarf!
I’d play on the junkie theme .. something like “If you need me, I’ll be at my LYS getting a fix.”
Thanks for stopping by and visiting me. Yeah, the bowl’s a beauty, isn’t it? Hand made by an AK crafter out of local wood (birch?) A gift from our realtor when we moved in.
I think that, whatever you do with the blog, there should be monkeys. Lots of monkey … maybe knitting monkeys? And if not monkeys … lawn gnomes!!!!
I love Kathy’s play on junkie - maybe you can work on that and include the word “crafting”?
