Not many things will get me up at the crack of dawn, but uh yarn will. Wonderful Things had their annual sale on Thursday for the first hour (7am-8am) everything is the store is 40% off. Forty percent off - I’m not crazy that would get you out of bed also - right? The cool thing is that you only have to be there for a moment if you want to, get your hand stamped and your good to go for the rest of the day.

It does get a bit overwhelming for me though. The biggest problem I run into with sales like this, is that when you find that perfect yarn in that perfect color - they always seem to be one skein short. Then when zooming out of the house I neglected to grab the notebook I had written all my planned patterns with the yarn needed and such. So I was attempting to shop on recall with not enough coffee in me.

Now I’m ready to knit from stash :-)

• The Great Adrirondack Yarn Co - Texas Bighorn in Coffee :) To match the Maple Leaf colorway I bought at last years sale. Hopefully I now have enough yardage to do something other than a scarf.
• Plymouth Yarn - Plymoth Tweed in brown, an orangy brown, and green. This hopefully is enough to finally make Cyd (Jaeger book JB31) which has been on my want to do list for a very long time.
• Cascade 220 in brown, blue, and green - for a Noni bag,
• Reynolds - Whiskey in a blue. Never tried this yarn and but I’m loving the tweeds lately. Got enough for a pair of socks.
• Regia - Silk Sock in a denim blue. Has been on my must try sock yarn for awhile and now I finally can
• 5 oz pencil roving. I get a bag of this stuff 3 out of 4 visits. I love it. Great for thrumbs, fun to knit as is, and shoot you can spin with it to.
