It really is amazing what kind of mood a great shopping day will put you in. It’s the simple things in life like 4 rolls of wrapping tape for .29 that send my heart a flutter, and let’s just say that I am now good to go with the scotch-tape for the year – that and cinnamon/apple scent for the house. I love sales!

Or the good mood could be because today the sky was actually blue. Today was beautiful! I was hoping to get a moment to take some pics – but by the time I got home from gallivanting around the moon was up. Have you seen the moon tonight? What a great way to end such a beautiful day.

Tuesday, about 10 minutes before I left for knit-night I started my first project of the new year – socks for the hubby, and it’s about time because he has been waiting for these for over a year :-) One of my goals for the new year is not jump around from project to project so much. You would know I have a big problem with this if you could see my WIP’s basket – or I should restate that and say could have seen because I finally gave it a good clean out. A few things remain – but there was much yarn reclaiming going on. The purge was needed and boy did it feel good!

When I look back over the year – I really did not knit much, especially when compared to last year. I did spin much more though so I guess things even out in the long run. Also I think if I was a more organized knitter much more would have been accomplished. That is one of my main goals for the new year – organize my stuff. And I want to get all geeky about it too – yep I’m going to attempt to get in all in a database. The idea totally excites me, we shall see how I do with the execution.

I know I’ve been all over the place, please bare with me, it’s not so easy getting back into the swing of this :-)
