Playing catch-up once again I am. I was reading recently on another blog (sorry I forget which one) but who ever it was, said my words. I am always thinking about blogging. Usually while driving I come up with the greatest, and most wittiest of posts. Of course since I can not drive and jot down these amazing ideas down at the same time, they are lost in the wind. I have acquired many, many journals of all sizes just for the jotting of ideas down. But, but, then I seem to never have one on me when I need it most. When I finally do find one and am ready to put the amazing idea down on paper I can’t find it - the idea that is. Or I still have it but when written down it is nothing like the amazing wittiness I had earlier while driving.
Any way it has been another busy two weeks gone by so here are the blurbs - because that is as witty as I can get at this time.
- Schools out for the summer - oh yeah
- Sicker than a dog since Wednesday - this is the first day I’m almost feeling like me
- I hate being sick
- Went to awards banquet sicker than a dog where just about every students comment was “Mrs Walker your so pale” duh!
- According to my new doctors office I have shrunk an inch and a half
- Since finding this out I have stood back to back with many a person to do the “how tall are you” compare.
- According to this scientific study of my own I am still 5′8″ the doctors office needs a redo
- I have bought no new yarn - yah for SOS
- I was contacted from a long lost loved one - well my first love - and a very good friend.
- Hearing from people in your past sends you into a tail spin to your past.
- Some of that is really good to relive - some not so much
- I finally got my dye-o-rama yarn out
- The dying part I’m fine with. The skeining and re-skeining not so much.
- What I’m great at is turning yarn into a great big knotted mess.
- Actually I totally excel at that.
- I also received my yarn from my dye-o-rama partner.
- It is limey green goodness
- It made me think immediately of Amy
- Amy will probably never see it though - it is also a hit with the kids.
- Apparently I need more limey green goodness
- Thank you such much dye-o-rama partner - you did good
- I would put actual name and link of dye-o-rama partner if I could find the card.
- Why is it when your sick the whole house goes crazy and becomes the biggest mess ever!
- Could it be the loved ones in my home are living in the glory that mom is to sick to ask us to do anything?
- Why do I have to ask?
- Am I the only one that can see that every dish in the house is dirty, the garbage needs to be taken out, and the living room looks like a bomb went off in there.
- I think not.
- Since I was in a blast from the past I went on ebay and found one of my high school yearbooks.
- It was cheaper the 2nd time around
- that is so cool
- it’s my sophomore year
- the year I appeared in the yearbook the most.
- Total 3 - only 1 that you can really see me though.
- I hated my picture being taken
- Well, I still do actually.
- I have not had a class picture taken since about the 6th grade
- Today I got carded while buying my mil cigarettes
- “You look so good for being so old”
- Is that a complement or a ditch?
- Why does every where all of the sudden have tip jars?
- That really annoys me.
- Was she just hoping for a tip?
- To bad my cynical self really got hung up on the so old part.
- I think it’s because I’m all greasy
- greasy=young
- Have not showered in 3 days being sick and all
- That is where I’m going now
- Slime ball be gone!!
- Did you catch the game today?
- Go USA
- Thank you Italy
- I’m really chearing for Brazil for the win
- Well besides the USA
- But really, figure the odds
In my best Rocky and Bullwinkle voice - Now for something really special:

I LOVE that lime green. My friend in England, Emy, would love it. Yes, everyone needs lime green goodness. And the blue, it’s so vibrant. I think I can gather the courage to dye now, after seeing your yarn and Jaya’s.
You really haven’t changed …. well, you have I suppose, but you haven’t - not so much appearence wise is what I meant to say. I picked you out instantly in the photo, without help. Be proud to be skinny, my friend. Be very proud.
Thanks very much for the sock yarn! It is so fantastic I don’t care if I need to handwash it. I have about 4 pairs of jeans I usually wear and another two pair I can’t bring myself to throw away. Does that give you an idea of my geeky wardrobe? ;)
Perfect!
