For many years I have taken pictures of feet. Why? Not really sure - I started this habit when I was just a kid. It stuck, and now all life events are imortalized with a picture of the feet. So here are a few of them from over the years.

The first one my feet are missing:-) This was taken when I was about 12yrs old during summer camp in San Diego, CA. Pictured are my youth minister and his wife, his son, and my friend Jackie. The cool thing about feet pictures is that they still grab the memory. No faces, but you still know who they all are.

Next is my first backpacking trip when I was 14. This is me and my friend Teresa with our oatmeal breakfast. I’m on the left, the knobby-kneed one.

Next we have a couple of self portraits, with my feet on the inside roof of the car. First is my trip to TX to visit my best friend Robyn. It was taken on the trip from the airport to her house. Then we have my feet all single and free. It was taken when I was 16. The day after I left my moms and was on my own.

Here are a couple from my navy days. The first one is in Puerto Rico (fist duty station) and I’m the sandy, barefoot one - bottom center. Then we have a girls night out in Bermuda (second duty station) and again I’m the center bottom. (the tanner one in the matching white shoes )

It’s the circle of life. This is actually one of my sons picture, taken a couple of summers ago. It’s his first youth group summer trip (I was one of the “so-called” chaperons) and we are at Cedar Point Park in OH. Again I’m the center bottom and he is the sneaker to my left in jeans and plaid.

Now I’m just going picture happy. So not only do we have feet, but here a couple of my childhood favorites I found while digging up the feet pictures. See it all still fits with in the “f” thing.

I love your feet pictures! Where are ours by the way? ;) I know you took feet pictures of us.

You have such a sense of history. I think it’s got something to do with how far you’ve come in life.
