In which I even got a little tiny bit of wrapping done. My goal is not to be up all night on Christmas Eve getting it all together for the kids.

It’s late so I’m going to give you just the headlines. With that….

I fell down the stairs twice - TWICE!! Tired mamma walking. I’m ok - well physically that is. I do have some extra bruises.

I managed to take two items off my Christmas knitting list - due to being just to much and unresonable. Then I added about 4 more must knit items. Unresonanble?

Took Nathan outside to play in the snow for the first time. The day before the big storm which was a good thing. He would have drowned in snow otherwise. It was so soft and fluffy. He had a great time. Me, I got tired pulling him around in the sled. Must start working out asap.

Talked to my mom on the phone for an hour in a half. She is sending me “the” Christmas decorations. I’m so excited! They should be here on the 12th. This is a big deal - these are the “family decorations” the decorations of my youth. And they are mine, all mine. My childhood favorite is in this box. He’s a little elf in the act of going up the ladder to put the star at the top of the tree. It’s one my mom has had forever - from the late fifties, early sixties. I love it!! It cost her $70 to mail this box (isn’t it funny how moms always include such info) but this is my Christmas present that I’ve been waiting for for years. I’ll post some pictures when all the goodness is here. Oh, just so you know one of the 1978 ornaments broke - lol - moms.

My weekend of decorating has been put on hold. No tree yet - nadda. I’m waiting for the box.

Did not finish making out Christmas cards. Did not even start making out he Christmas cards.

Missed church today and I feel all off kilter. Did I miss it because I was sick-no. Overslept - nadda. I missed church today because I did not even realize it was Sunday. I was up at 5:30 that’s am, just going to town. Feeling all good because I’m getting stuff done. Feeling all good because I’m ahead of the plan. Then boom lightning strikes (aka hubby comes home late from work surprised to see me) How did I lose a day?

That’s not all the exciting events but I must sign off now - but I will leave you with this. My favorite shot of little man during his first snow adventure.

Aww… you poor baby! I can’t believe you fell down the stairs, TWICE. It’s not like you have any padding on the butt either you know.

    Nathan’s so cute, btw. :)

Glad to hear you’ve cut down on your christmas knitting. I’m doing the worst part right now, a ribbed scarf and hat set for dad. God I hate ribbing. I hope we see you tomorrow, we’ll have a new knitter with us!
