Nathan’s little cardi is finally all sewn up. That took how long? Since it’s such a grand occasion here are the many pics. Not the best - but it was 9:00pm so no natural light available. Also when your taking pictures for your blog - you ever notice how crummy your house looks? Plus there is a big spill stain on the couch - that you can not see with the naked eye - but boy does that boy shine bright with the flash of the camera. Ok I’m digressing again. With out further ado I give you the Devan.
Here’s the inside - just so you can see that it is really all sewn up, and that I did not pull any safety pin tricks on you.

Here’s the back with it’s little detail of color.

And finally here it is on little man himself. Right over the PJ’s. As you can see he’s loving it.

Show me the love honey:

The pattern is Devan from Knitty and the sock yarn is Knitpicks simple stripes in Storm. I forget what the solid is - it’s a washable wool sock yarn that I picked up locally. This was made before Knitpicks had the coordinating solids. It was a pretty quick knit - if you don’t count all that finishing time. It was my first sweater on such small needles - but it was still very fast. The only problem I really had was picking up the stitches for the front band - I had to redo that a couple of times. Other than that it was an easy knit.
Yeah it’s done! Well except for those darn buttons but they shall surface soon. And just so you know- Nathan is in bed. Sleeping soundly. Sweater free.

OH MY GOD he is just too cute! LOL You’re such an evil mom, you know that? I’m so proud of you! you know, in a pair of chinos, with little baby black boots and a grey henley he’d look like such a little man. *grin* Aww… I don’t even recognize him when he’s crying, to be honest!
