I’m really loving this mystery shaw. So much so that I went ahead and signed up for mysteryshaw 2 - this one I’m at least starting on time. The first mystery shaw knit along is actually over - but there is a few stragglers - I’m not the only one. This is my first real attempt at lace and I think I’m doing alright. I have a few fudges in the works - but I can’t tell were I did them - so my fudges are even going well.
Here’s how she looks so far - I have just started clue three (3 out of 5). I’m using Rowanspun dk. I really love the little specs of color (they don’t show up to well on the pic) This is going to be my very-country-girl-shaw. I have a favorite fall skirt that I think might look very nice with it - we shall see. I have not actually held them up together or anything yet :-)

I also acquired this:

Not totally on purpose don’t you know. It was what I was fondling in the yarn store when I almost got locked in. Can you imagine me locked up over night in a yarn store, it’s like a dream come true. I was at Wonderful Things in Gt. Barrington. I turn a corner and the lights are out. Run into cute little old man operating the place who informs me I was about ready to stay in the place over night. So I really felt the need to buy what I had in my hands - I don’t know why really. I guess in a sort of so I don’t totally embarrass my self type of way. I’m also guessing I’m a really quite shopper…….

LMAO Only you Michelle. ;)
I want to go back there, preferably with Katie in tow… wanna play? When’s good for you? Even if we don’t buy anything, come on, it’s so much fun there!
