Today was my spinning class. I learned so much - little tricks of the trade I guess - so now I feel really in the know. Yeah, right….. I now know what to do, but I still can’t get my hands to cooperate. But I did have a blast. I think a big part of it was that I was absolutely kidless, none, nada, not one of them was with me. A little strange, but very enjoyable.
Then I rushed home, quick cleaned the house, made dinner, got dressed, and took off again - with no kids I must add. I went to a designer bag party. Oh my goodness. I have never been to such a bizzar event. Bags, clutches, purses, wallets, belts, back-packs, everywhere. With a gazillion women oohing and awhing (ok I might be exagerating with the gazillion number - but there were many) It was a bit like one of those mad sales you go to - where you have to grab just in case you think you might want it. Because if you don’t take it someone else will, and who knows if you’ll ever get it back. Of course I went over my alloted budget (I won’t say how much just in case hubby reads this :-) )
I left with the cutest striped Kate Spade diaper bag, two Gucci bags (one brown with black handles, one this poppy like red/orange color). A KS wallet (that matches the diaper bag - you know so I’m all coordinated and stuff) and a limey green Coach wallet. Not that the Coach wallet matches anything else - but I love the color - but I would get little use out of a purse of such color so I went with the wallet I can stick into anything. I also got two cute flowered toe rings.
I’ll take pictures of all this tomorrow.
The kids I have avoided all day are now in bed - life is good.
nothing wrong with a little mommy alone time. So my mother always tells me. :)
