I’m finally showing some progress - my skirt is almost done. Miles and miles of stockinette stitch, and I’m finally to the ruffle. Yee-ha!!
You must see :-)

The pattern is from Rebecca issue number 25. It was one of those projects. One in which I start with a gusto - because I’m all excited. Then something happens, (like miles, and miles of stockinette) and you lose it. I thought the stripes would keep my interest enough, but that didn’t really work. Especially when I look at all the ends that need to be finished yet.
Eleven more rounds and a few more stripes and this skirt is done. Well after I finish those ends, which knowing me could be some time yet.

I hate weaving in ends too. So what I do to make it a little less tedious is do a few at a time. Like, after a few rounds of striping, I’ll stop knitting and weave in some ends. Makes it a little less painful for me to do it that way rather than do them all at once!
OH it looks so cool! I can’t wait to see it. You WILL be there on Tuesday, right? *poke poke*
No matter what, you can’t bitch because if I made that skirt it would be TWICE the size it is right now (bigger actually), so count your slender blessings. LOL
